Windian Records
Excellent reissue of the Hangmen's hit single from 1966, "What a Girl Can't Do." Originally released on Monument, this single was recorded a year earlier under the Hangmen's original moniker, the Reekers. The Hangmen were the closest thing to the Box Tops Montgomery County, Maryland, had, so it's not all that surprising that the group got to a play a party at Bobby Kennedy's home. Check this interview with late Hangmen guitarist Tom Guernsey.
This single was anything but easy to pull off, so way to go Windian Records.
